Based in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, FLASH BOOM BANG TATTOO is the work of artist TJ Huff as he turns his visual ideas toward a skin-centric outlet. After being the recipient of tattoos for over 20+ years it’s hard to turn off that switch and stop getting inked… however those damned Covid years made it very difficult. As such, TJ turned toward handpoking himself to scratch that proverbial itch. After about a dozen or so tattoos on his own legs. he was hooked. The art started to look pretty great. amd the unique style that emerged lured friends from across the country beckoning for a piece. thus FLASH BOOM BANG TATTOO was born.

5 years later, TJ is now a licensed tattoo practitioner and is hoping to grow his tattoo community. Focussing on wonky line art and colorful blocking, TJ’s images lean towards the goofy and nostalgic. Currently working out of his home studio in Brooklyn, TJ is also constantly traveling for work and perhaps will be in a city near you soon!
